SJS Dance Academy was established in 1993 by Suzanne Sanders BA (Hons) Dance Theatre RAD RTS

SJS Dance promotes and teaches RAD Classical Ballet for 3-18yr olds as well as Jazz/Modern, Tap, Contemporary and Adult Ballet.

Alongside Suzanne, we have a team of dedicated teachers including:

SJS Dance enters students into RAD Ballet exams and works towards whole school shows every 2 years (see Shows and Gallery)

We also hold occasional workshops and encourage our students to experience teaching alongside us.

Whilst many of our students pursue dance for pleasure, fitness or relaxation there are a number of ex-students who have gone on to train professionally over the years, recently and worthy of mention these includes places at the Royal Academy of Dance, Northern Ballet School and Trinity Laban.
